MOROCCO: A 10-Day Adventure

Oh, the places we'll go! Morocco is a feast for the senses at every turn - this epic trip will bring together your mind, body and heart in a magical land like no other. We'll start in the royal city of Marrakesh and explore the culture of this ancient town and its medina, we'll travel into the Atlas Mountains to visit and cook with a local Berber family, and from there make our way east towards the Sahara Desert - stopping in Ouarzazate and Merzouga. We'll see oases and ancient kasbahs, and participate in a the tea ceremony with the local Berbers. We'll spend a night in a desert camp, ride camels at sunset, and visit the town of Khamlia Gnawa, famous for music made by slaves from West Africa who traveled north to be free. We'll spend time in the mystical city of Fes, the cultural center of Morocco, exploring its medieval medina and visiting craftspeople. We'll end our trip in Casablanca, the largest and most modern city in Morocco, and make a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque by the sea.
Along the way, we'll experience the very heart of Morocco - we’ll walk in the footsteps of philosophers and mathematicians, wander through exquisite architecture shaped by geometry and devotion, and trace parts of the ancient trans-Saharan and sub-Saharan routes that once carried gold, ideas, and culture across the continent. From labyrinthine medinas to Roman ruins to vast desert horizons, this journey invites a sense of magic and mysticism, offering moments that feel both deeply spiritual and timeless. You will be changed by Morocco, your soul awakened with curiousity and vibrance.
