Pomegranate + Tart Cherry Mocktail

You might be trying to keep things healthy during the holiday season, and alcohol can rack up the calories as well as increase inflammation in your body.  With a little bit of planning, you can keep your health goals in focus and still enjoy yourself!


Pomegranate and cherry juice are both high in antioxidants and help fight inflammation.  Cherry juice also has a high melatonin content and is thought to help sleep quality. 


This mocktail is so easy AND delicious.  Bring your own mixings to a holiday party or serve it to your own guests.  The best part, you can easily add a clear spirit (like gin or vodka) and make it a cocktail if you must.  Versatile, nutritious and delicious.



Fill a glass with ice.


BLEND TOGETHER:

1/2 cup pomegranate juice

1/2 cup cherry juice (unsweetened)

1/2 - 1 cup lemon lime seltzer

Mint or pomegranate seeds for garnish (optional)


Add 1 teaspoon magnesium glycinate powder to make it a Sleepy Girl Mocktail.

Add 2 oz of a clear spirit, like vodka or gin, for a yummy Cocktail.
